Over the past 20 years of working with underprivileged schools, we have had many wins and more failures. We understand that in schools in socioeconomically disadvantaged environments, it is the leaders that make the difference. Develop the leaders and support them, and the chances are good that reform in schooling will become a reality.
OUR PURPOSE FOR CHANGE

I sit in the class; I’m not really listening. The groans from my stomach are louder than voices. The education I’m receiving, I know to be poor. I’m here because I must; not because I want to be. We have nothing, we are nothing, we will become nothing… oh how I wish I had a chance."
